Pillowfight is a collaborative project between Dan the Automator (Deltron 3030, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Gorillaz) and Emily Wills featuring Kid Koala and Lateef the Truthspeaker. They have their base at San Francisco. Pillowfight came about after Kid Koala was paired with Emily Wills on an artist workshop at a Canadian music festival, knowing that Dan was looking for a female vocalist for a new project. Their sound is very interesting and the songs are between downtempo, smoothly swings and hip shaking.
