Mutabaruka is a Jamaican Rastafarian dub poet and songwriter. He born in Kingston (26 December 1952) and his real name is Allan Hope. Mutabaruka comes from the Rwandan language and traslates as one who is always victorious. He is known for his expression and lively perfomances as much as for the poems themselves. Mutabaruka uses stories and experiences to get readers to think about issues in ways that they wouldn't normally think about them. He performs and lectures all over the world.
