Pretty Lights is the moniker of Derek Vincent Smith. He is an electronic music artist and producer from Colorado and the owner of the label Pretty Lights Music. From 2009 he has played in many music festivals. Smith uses samples from vintage soul, funk, hip-hop, trip-hop and dubstep. He usually considers his music as electro hip-hop soul. Derek has associated with artists like Michal Menert, Break Science, Gramatik, SuperVision and more.
