Giorgio Moroder Chase



Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (Hansjorg Moroder) is a record producer, songwriter and singer from Italy. He made his first steps in music in Berlin, by releasing a few singles under the name Giorgio and then began making a name for himself in studios around Germany in the early 70's. He has colaborated with Dona Summer, Freddie Mercury, The Three Degrees, Sparks, Bonnie Tyler, Irene Cara, David Bowie, Madleen Kane, France Joli, Daft Punk and many more. Moroder has been involved in soudndtrack work for various motion pictures. In 1978 he wrote the soundtrack for Midnight Express, which featured one of his best known pieces Chase. In 1980 he composed and produced two film soundtracks for Foxes and American Gigolo.In 1983 Giorgio produced the soundtrack for the film Scarface, which used in the video game Grant Thief Auto 3. Moroder wrote the official theme songs for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, 1988 Seoul Olympics, 1990 Football World Cup and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
