Basement Freaks is a music project was born by George Fotiadis in 2005. He is known also as DJ Jorhe and he is from Thessaloniki, Greece. George started producing music in early 2000 and mixing styles such as funk, disco, hip-hop, dub and breakbeat. He has played together with many artists like Kraak N Smaak, Shanti Roots, Inverse Cinematics, Jeru Di Damaga, K Bonus, Balkan Express and more. He has also joined two other projects 9WEST and Smokey Bandits. In 2011 Georges Perin, a long time collaborator, becomes an active member of Basement Freaks project. They have toured extensively throughout Europe at festivals and clubs.
