Black Nasty was a funk group based in Detroit and formed in 1972. They were active till 1980. Nastys mixed funk, psychedelic, rock, R&B and soul elements. The members of Black Nasty were Artwell Matthews Jr. (drummer), Audrey Matthiews (singer, songwriter), Jackie Cosper, Mark Patterson (bassist) and Terry Elis. Their group was a little-known but decent. They changed their name to Nazty and later, after some changes, they became ADC Band.
