Black Sugar is a band from Peru. They formed in 1968 and disbanded in 1975. The members of the group were Carlos Mejia, Coco Lagos, Jorge Chavez, Jose Cruz, Luis Calixto, Miguel Figueroa, Miguel Salazar, Pedro Gosicha, Roberto Valdez and Victor Salazar. They played latin style folk rock with strong influences of funk, soul and jazz.
