DJ Vadim is a producer and DJ, born in Leningrad and raised in London. His real name is Andrey Gurov and he is also known as Vadim Peare and Daddy Vad. Vadim makes music using elements of electronica, hip-hop, trip-hop, soul, reggae, dub and funk. Throughout his career he has worked with a variety musicians, singers and groups such as DJ Krush, Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Prince, Public Enemy, Dilated Peoples, Kraftwerk, Sly And The Family Stone, Fat Freddys Drop, Super Furry Animals and Paul Weller. DJ Vadim has appeared as a member of the project The Isolationist and he is also the DJ and producer for Spanish hip-hop group 7Notas 7Colores.
