Kubb is a British indie-rock band, formed in 2005. The group started when Harry Collier (singer) met Ben Langmaid (La Roux) and Jeff Patterson. The threesome began writing together songs, but Langmaid and Patterson were not interested in being in the frontline of a band. So Collier recruited Dominic Greensmith (drums), John Tiley (keyboards) and Adj Buffone (guitar). The band have drawn comparisons with others such as Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay and David Bowie. In 2009 the band played live under the name The Daddy with a new line up, featuring Collier, John Hogg (guitar), Alex Evans (keys) and Maritin Wright (drums).
