The Brand New Heavies is an acid jazz, soul and funk group from London, formed in 1985. They began as an instrumental acid jazz group called Brother International. The members of the band are Jan Kincaid (drummer, keyboardist), Simon Bartholomew (guitarist) and Andrew Levy (bassist, keyboardist). They associated with artists N'Dea Davenport, Siedah Garrett, Carleen Anderson, Honey Larochelle and Nicole Russo.
