Akale Wube is an Ethio-jazz band from Paris, France. They mix Ethio-jazz, 70's afrobeat and reggae. The members of the band are Paul Bouclier (trumbet, krar, percussions), Etienne De La Sayette (sax, bansuri flute, washint), Loic Rechard (guitar), Oliver Degabriele (electric bass) and David Georgelet (drums). They have collaborations with artists such as Madjid Bekas, Genet Asefa, Nuru Kane, Krar Collective, VIncent Peirani and many more. The influences of the band came from artists like Mulatu Astatke, Getatchew Mekurya, Mahmoud Ahmed, Alemayehu Eshete, Fela Kuti and Don Cherry.
