Myron & E are a vocal soul duo. Myron Glasper was born in South Central Los Angeles and he sang in choirs and played piano growing up. Eric ''E Da Boss'' Cooke, as a teen, began collecting records and after high school started DJing parties. The two began working together in the tour outfit of with Bay Area indie hip-hop legends Blackalicious. The Soul Investigators are a soul band.
