Phantogram is a music duo from New York, USA, formed in 2007. Sarah Barthel (vocals, keyboard) and Joshua Carter (guitar, vocals) are the Phantogram. They are friends since junior high school. The duo was originally called Charlie Everywhere but they changed it to Phantogram in 2009. The band name was inspired by the optical illusion called phantogram. In their music they use elements of psych pop, street beat, trip-hop, indie, electro and experimental. Phantogram have released two albums.
