Shakatak is a jazz-funk band from London, founded in 1980. The basic members of the band are Jill Saward (vocals, percussion, flute), Bill Sharpe (keyboards), Roger Odell (drums) and George Anderson (bass). Some of the past members are Keith Winter (electric guitar, 1980-1990), Nigel Wright (keyboards, 1980-1982) and Jackie Rawe (vocals, 1980-1983). They had many hits in UK chart. Shakatak's music is a blend of 80's jazz, funk, disco, soul and fusion. Their debut album was released in 1981.
