Da Lata is a British group founded in early 90's by producer Chris Franck and DJ Patrick Forge. They were members of Batu group before setting up the Da Lata. The idea for the project was to mix up afro-brazilian and latin influences with dance and electronic music. Da Lata means from the tin. Chris and Patrick have collaborations with many musicians and singers such us Liliana Chachian, Oli Savill, Dennis Rollins, Nina Miranda, Baaba Maal and many more. Da Lata's debut album 'Songs From The Tin' was released in 2000.
