Jungle By Night is a nine piece instrumental collective from Amsterdam, Netherlands, consisting of brothers, cousins and school friends. The band members are Bo Floor (trumbet), Pieter van Exter (tenor sax), Ko Zandvliet (trombone), Jac van Exter (guitar), Pyke Pasman (keys), Peter Peskens (bass), Gino Groeneveld (congas, percussion), Tienson Smeets (djembe, percussion) and Sonny Groeneveld (drums). The group influenced by afrobeat, funk and ethiojazz. They have collaborations with artists like Mulatu Astatke, John Legend & The Roots, Gaslamp Killer and Seun Kuti. Jungle By Night's same name debut album was released in 2011.
