Hugo Kant aka Quentin Le Roux, is a producer and musician from Marseilles, France. He started studying music at the age of 5 and as a teenager he co-founded the psychedelic, jazz, rock band Gus Weg Watergang. Kant has collaborations with artists like Samekoa, Picture Shop, David Lafore Cinq Tetes, Lokito, Jenova 7, LostPoet and remixed tracks for artists such as Chinese Man, The Herbaliser and Ancient Astronauts. In 2011 he began his solo project making trip-hop music with elements of nu-jazz, hip-hop and downtempo. Hugo Kant's debut solo album 'I Don't Want To Be An Emperor' was released in 2011.
