The Budos Band is an instrumental Afro-soul group from New York, founded in 2005. The sound of Budos is a mixture of Afrobeat, funk, soul and 70's psychedelic rock. The members are Brian Profilio (drums), Daniel Foder (bass guitar), Thomas Brenneck (electric guitar), Mike Deller (organ), Jared Tankel (baritone sax), Andrew Greene (trumpet), Dame Rodriguez (cowbell, clave, tabourine), Rob Lobardo (bongos, congas) and John Carbonella Jr. (congas, drums). Their same name debut album 'The Budos Band' was released in 2005.
